Box #1 Wild Worlds: Sculpted Landscapes:This mixed-media project invites kids to envision the wild worlds animals live in by creating an imaginative sculpted and painted landscape. Campers learn clay sculpting and watercolor techniques through the instructional videos. Using air-dry clay and acrylic paint, campers shape and paint miniature animals and create an imaginary habitat. Their watercolor landscape becomes a unique backdrop for the miniature world they assemble on the hand-crafted wooden base which can be added to and changed over time.

Box #2 Amate Painting and Drawing invites campers to explore the natural world in their sketchbooks and turn their drawings into imaginative paintings inspired by vibrant folk art designs. Based on traditional Amate paintings, created on Ficus tree bark by folk artists in Mexico, campers transform their own drawings into vibrant works of art painted on authentic Amate bark paper handcrafted in Puebla, Mexico.

Box #3 Printmaking: Stories from the Wild
Explore the art of printmaking with three different printmaking projects. Illustrate a story of a real or imagined adventure, envision a gift from nature you'd like to give someone and create multiple images on paper, a canvas banner and framed cards to mail to someone you care about.
